Fall In Wine Country
My favorite time of year to photograph the grapevines of Northern California is during the late fall. The grapes have all been picked and crushed and the days are getting shorter. The shorter days signal the vines that it is time for them to shut down and their leaves go through the fall color change.
This image was captured in Suisun Valley, just to the east of Napa Valley. It was a cool morning this day and there was due on the grass. In other words, a beautiful fall morning.
