The Elmo Club - "Elmo's" was located on Main Street in downtown Suisun City, California, until it burned down in 1978. A local's favorite for young and old for decades, with billards, booze, and bait. Plus the pool table was a big attraction. Elmo's was positioned in the middle of other old-time Suisun City bars and establishments including Sterling's, Jimmie's Mint Cafe, and H-Jays.

As a life-long resident and artist living in the San Francisco Bay Area I recently heard the Pacific Northwest calling me to pack up and move to Washington State. So now I am living in bear country - it's true! Although my paintings from 2008 through 2021 were of iconic locations in California and Nevada, I now plan to discover and paint special places and memory-makers in Washington, Oregon, and beyond. I plan to continue using buildings and signs as a vehicle to create bold designs within my format and using bright, bold, splashy color so my paintings will be noticed.
